The Run Down:
As soon as you walk into this family run place you feel welcome. The Burger is big. The 8 ounce homeburger has a nice flavour and is not too salty. The cooking on this occasion was a little too much as it was slightly burnt insted of evenly grilled and sightly dry. The quality of the meat was terrific; evenly ground with no hard chunks and not greasy, nice beef flavour with subtle seasonings. The bun was a bit of a let down, slightly toasted, which is nice, but unable to hold together with the burger and toppings. The toppings though were quite good, all the usual suspects with a few extras and all the veggies looking and tasting nice and fresh. The overall place could have been cleaner, but it wasn't horrible. The grill though could have used a once over, if only to limit the burnt edges. Above average service was quick and friendly. A point lost for adding mayo when garnishing my burger after I asked for no mayo; and a point gained for specifically avoiding putting a slice of tomatoe which was mostly core. A definate return visit in the future to try the Mojo Burger combo.
